In Neustadt, Berlin, 2017-2018, 46 photos, digital

Neustadt is where only new buildings characterize the cityscape and no traces of old Berlin are visible anymore. The eaves height is still maintained, but the number of stories is increased by one. The facades are now merely smoothly plastered surfaces without any form of design. Sometimes the old street layouts are taken into account, but the clear-cutting along the former border between East and West also allows for completely new interpretations. The series was acquired by the Stadtmuseum Berlin in 2020. It is part of the trilogy "Am Vorabend" and "Im Bau".
